TIEDC Orientation 2025 – Igniting the Spark of Entrepreneurship

The Technology Incubation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell (TIEDC) kick-started its new journey with an exciting Orientation Program on 25th August 2025 at LT2, welcoming over 80 enthusiastic first-year students. The session was not just an introduction but a vibrant celebration of creativity, innovation, and the entrepreneurial spirit that TIEDC strives to foster on campus.

A Warm Welcome to Future Innovators

The orientation began with a heartfelt welcome from senior coordinators, setting the tone for what lay ahead. Students were introduced to the vision and mission of TIEDC, emphasizing that entrepreneurship is not just about starting companies but about embracing innovation, problem-solving, and leadership in every aspect of life.

Inside the World of TIEDC

Through engaging presentations and discussions, the new members were given a complete walkthrough of the E-Cell ecosystem. They learned about the team structure—spanning Events & Operations, PR & Marketing, Corporate Relations, Finance & Sponsorship, and Design & Social Media—and how each team contributes to building the entrepreneurial culture on campus.

The orientation also featured an ice-breaker session, where light-hearted games and interactions helped students connect with each other. This instantly created an atmosphere of teamwork and camaraderie.

Voices of Inspiration

One of the highlights of the day was the motivational addresses delivered by the Student Coordinators and Team Heads. They shared their personal journeys, reflecting on how TIEDC shaped their confidence, leadership skills, and opened doors to real opportunities beyond the classroom.

The session concluded with an open Q&A, where first-year students clarified their doubts and engaged in meaningful conversations about upcoming initiatives, projects, and events planned for the year.

What Students Took Away

The Orientation was more than just an introduction—it was a learning experience. Students walked away with:

  • A clear understanding of the E-Cell ecosystem and its role in strengthening startup culture on campus.

  • A fresh entrepreneurial mindset, learning to view challenges as opportunities.

  • Exposure to leadership and responsibility, motivating them to step up and take charge.

  • A boost in confidence and communication, having directly interacted with the core team.

Looking Ahead
